Stephen (pictured right) co-presents the Folk / Rock show with Colin Eales (left) on Aycliffe Radio which is broadcast on a Sunday afternoon between 4 and 6pm.
Stephen says “We met in New York when we landed jobs as members of a dancing troupe called ‘Ma heids mince’, then broke away and formed our own tap dancing duo ‘whiplash n puppet’. Ttoured Jamaica and the West Indies, but there was no money in it. Came back to the North East of England where we toured the working mens clubs. Col gargled lager and I whistled under the banner ‘Lucan and Spangler’. There was no money in that either.
Can currently be found propping up the Aycliffe Radio studio as the worst show on its roster . . .”
